Re: Latest project!
Nice car, I like the contrast between the blue shock bodies and the red shell!
Now go back to your room and clean the rust off those camber links!

Re: Latest project!
I plan on replacing those with some lunsford to match the front. I just got to dig and see what fits.PBR Allstar wrote:Now go back to your room and clean the rust off those camber links!
Re: Latest project!
Put in some vintage electronics I just picked up the Mr. X mod motor ( I think its a 10D, but not sure yet) The sticker is almost perfect but the black on the can is discolored. Im thinking about spraying the can lightly with thin black paint, but dont know if its worth it . The T-1X I just bought and had a spliced cord, so I took it apart and replaced it with the cord off a old servo. I also replaced the motor wires as they were a little short. I hooked it all up and it works!! The reciever has a little discoloration and Im open to sugestions on how to fix that??

Re: Latest project!
I guess these are rare wheels. They are made by AE and are 2.2 with the old style 1/4" axle. I found them at a LHS clerance bin. I think I still have the header card somewhere.... I'll see if I can find it.

Re: Latest project!
Those are 6805 white "World's Car" rear wheels. Looks like you're sportin' the Flat Stubbies, too.
Re: Latest project!

WOW! Nice car. I like the shock towers your using. I've never seen them before The back one anyway.

I think they are both Jammin Jay's Extended towers. At least the front is for sure as I have one more NIP.

Re: Latest project!
That chassis deserves a set of real WC shock towers and all the other WC bits or at least done up as a late 6035 with the white WC rear arms, etc.wts873 wrote:I might have to turn this into a graphite Worlds car I shouldnt need to many peices.
Re: Latest project!
What Kit did this chassis come in? 6036? I would love to see one built as it was out of the box. I have a full set of team shocks, stealth white or black ( white is correct for Worlds), graphite trans brace, black stealth motor plate, white A-arm mounts, castor blocks and hubs and new gold screws. Looks like I would need rear Worlds arms ( with truck H-pins), graphite worlds shock towers, batt hold down, and of course a turbo mirage body. Am I missing anything?templeofspeed wrote:That chassis deserves a set of real WC shock towers and all the other WC bits or at least done up as a late 6035 with the white WC rear arms, etc.wts873 wrote:I might have to turn this into a graphite Worlds car I shouldnt need to many peices.
