Suzuki inspired MF2 with old MX & ATV pictures
Re: New Suzuki paint for my old MF2
Had a 250 quadracer myself! Last year they made them, '92 I think. Almost killed myself on it! Hit a tree wide open 4th gear. I had a dream some 6-8 years later that the throttle stuck but Ill never know for sure. Luckly I bailed just before impact but I cought the handle bar in my side and it cracked my kidney. I can't even start to tell you how bad that hurt not to mention I pee'd blood for 2 weeks and didn't s@$t for 4 weeks! Not fun! By far the best ATV I've ever had and Ive had a few since then. I never had a 'zilla but thats probably a good thing. Im sure I would have killed myself on one of those!

Re: New Suzuki paint for my old MF2
yea my first quad was a 97 yamaha warrior (had a bunch of bikes berore that)that thing was not as fast as the 250 race quads but im glad cause if i had a 250 2stroke or a banshee back then i may have got real hurt..im glad i waited till 2006 for my banshee. im older and wiser.plus i still have my warrior, its been to mx tracks ,mud bogs, woods ,high speed trails/fire roads and ive ridden alot with a girl on back and it still runs good. all i had to change was the axle, all drive train bearings/bushings, and tires . if i did all this kind of riding with a banshee im sure the motor (top end, bottom end,clutch,trans,exc..)would be shot..

Re: New Suzuki paint for my old MF2
I had those two Quad Racers for about 8 years, I paid $3000. and rode the pi$$ out of them, and sold them for $5000. for both, that is the only thing I ever bought that increased in value.
Then I bought a 89 Honda 250R Four Trax , had it for about 5 years.
Then a couple of years ago when the new Yamaha 700 Raptor with Fuel Injection came out, I bought one of the first ones , and the was by far the coolest, funnest, most comfortable Quad I ever owned, I miss it.

Hey, I thought this was a Vintage site...
What's with the 2 front wheels???
A proper Vintage ride would only have 1 front wheel.

Wow,
This thread should've started in the off topic chitchat spot so I coulda seen it earlier...took a bored overtired search for suzuki on a vintage rc car site to find this in the losi parts. Had an '87, '88 and finally a '92 (still in the garage) LT250R quadracer and always wanted to stuff a quadzilla 500 motor into an lt250r chassis to play around on...several back/neck injuries later I can still dream
...
Nice paint by the way!
Todd

Re: Suzuki inspired MF2 with old MX & ATV pictures
Here's my current ride. '06 450R.
Since the pic I have added Elka front shocks, and a Roll black front bumper.
I always walk away from it thinking: you really DON'T need to go this fast on a 4 wheeler....

Yeah, I have rode a basnhee... Lots of pucker factor there. They just seemed a little too unstable of a platform. Undeniable sound, lots of top end, no bottom. I rode with a guy that swore by them. Swore at it a lot whenever he had to change out fouled plugs (which happened often)
