Lazer buggy of the past
My first car r/c car was a Lazer but I can not remember the company who made it. It was a knock off of a Hornet but had some cool chrome wheels. Anybody ever heard of this?

Re: Lazer buggy of the past
The Lazer was made by Minicraft. It was like the hornet except it used the plastic from the rock buster...so it was a little softer than the tamiya cars.
It came with chrome 5 hole 2.0 wheels.
There was one on ebay last year in near mint condition...but I didn't have the funds at the time. One of my goals is to get all of the grasshopper knock offs:
mugen manx
panda cyclone (same as rhe manx)
minicraft lazer
rock buster
road runner

Re: Lazer buggy of the past
The body for the Lazer was molded by Parma, then offered by them later under the name of the Sly One specifically for the Fox.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

That's what I thought, but I didn't want to give that info since I wasn't sure.mrlexan wrote:The body for the Lazer was molded by Parma, then offered by them later under the name of the Sly One specifically for the Fox.

I always liked that clone version of the grasshopper. It had some good hop-ups.
