rc10 runner for my nephew
This is a rc10 runner I built up for my nephew . It will be for his 12th brithday coming up later this month. He and his buddies have a indoor track that they run at. My nephew currently has a well worn grasshopper and is always asking for help on repairs. He is always asking about my rc10's so I built one up for him using all my good parts that I have left and also used up my bearings. I used a good runner pan with original rc10 A arms. The rims I used came from Mr.Lexan a while ago off ebay. I used some b4 stub axles and spacers to mount the rear rims. This car will a great suprise to him and I know my nephew will enjoy his first rc10. I was going to give him a traxxas radicator for his brithday but decided on the rc10 . When I tell him that his car is posted on RC10TALK he will be even more suprised.

He is really into this hobby I know he will like it and run it. Soon I am sure after he runs it his freinds are going to want RC10's . Just trying to pass on hobby to a kid who really enjoys it.

Re: rc10 runner for my nephew
I'm a kid at heart who really loves the hobby.... can you build me one???
Very cool- I love getting the young ones involved. I want my nephews (my only neice is just 2) to do something other than the mind-numbing computer & video games-- my kids are already RC addicts. You can even turn a major crash into a learning experience-- it becomes a contest between them to figure out what part broke and how it may be fixed.
That is a very nice example. Congrats!

Looks great. Is that a carbon effect on that body or is it just the resolution on this work computer?

The carbon effect . I just used some mesh drywall tape . Stuck it on painted the green and back it up with white . Just did something different.

I love that look. I may try and ruin my next shell by attempting it.rctenracer wrote:The carbon effect . I just used some mesh drywall tape . Stuck it on painted the green and back it up with white . Just did something different.
