RC10b3 Front and rear shocks....
Ok, so I'm planning on converting my daughter's T3 back to a B3, I've seen that a couple of you guys have used the truck front shocks and shock tower on some of your builds, would that work for the rear too??, or are they just to long, for them to work properly on a buggy platform??
The reasoning behind it is $$$, i can get away with just buying the front and rear arms, tie rod set, body, and CVD set.
Now if I factor in, front and rear shock tower, plus front and rear shocks sets, then the price would go up quite a bit.
What do you guys think/suggest??

Re: RC10b3 Front and rear shocks....
Even after buying all that stuff you listed without the shocks you could probably pick up a whole B3 cheaper, CVD's are expensive!
The T3 chassis is also alot longer which will make it so the B3 body wont fit.

Re: RC10b3 Front and rear shocks....
The CVD I found on Ebay for $23, not bad, the arms and other stuff are relatively cheap.
The truck is already a converted buggy, but I sold all the B3 parts on another build.
SO, the chassis that I have is the B3 chassis.
and I really don't want to buy another Car, I just want to convert my truck back into a buggy.

Re: RC10b3 Front and rear shocks....
Here is a pic of my B3/T3 project. I was going to restore a T3 . I purchased and new chassis for a B3 . I did not know the length differance at the time. This what I came up with a B3 with T3 shocks and T3 front and rear A arms. I use the B3 shock shafts in the T3 front shocks . I had to swap rear lower shock mounts around (left to right , right to left) to get the clearance for the rear rims. The shock towers Were purchased from tower hobby . If you don't mind the wider suspension and you have the T3 you have all the parts except a chassis the shock towers and short shock shaft for the front T3 shocks.
