I'm buying this RC12LW and don't know much,if anything, about them, except that Associated ran them once in an IFMAR round in Singapore...Don't even know what year.
Dig that sweet, unmolested Novak 410MS ESC! With all the origonal plugs! A Slot Machine motor, too.
Can you say "Dry Rot"?
I think it's a nice score,especially for US$30.
Pity I just gave away a new HPI 1/12th pan car body I had lying around...Finally have a use for it,now.
So,the fibreglass cars were more scarce than the graphite ones?

From experience they might just be...I've had I think 8 of them over the last 5 years or so and they have all been the graphite ones. Usually all basket cases and now I think of it I mighta had one fiberglass one but don't remember for sure. Yours looks alot better than the one I got sitting in the parts bin ...

Still have my old L/LW/LS car left
it used to be an graphite L but the chassi broke so i bought an LW chassi insted and other parts to complete the transformation.
Then at an race i got my hands on an LS chassi cheap with strut susp and sanwa servo.

I bought this RC12L a few days ago on ebay. I almost feel guilty at the price i got it for :
Now the box says it's an RC12L Worlds Edition, but the pictures i've seen of the LW have slightly different front ends and no alloy motor pod. Can anyone...

Nice car.... you sure pick up some bargains!
Thanks, i think it's maybe because vintage 12th is a bit unloved? I'm not sure why they go so cheaply, but i'm not complaining either
I noticed the other day that the rear hubs aren't like the...
Well, after some fun on carpet tracks and even on asphalt (it was really great), the original tires of my RC12LW are now dead and it's time to find a way to replace it.

I'd really like to thank Incredible_Serious for sending to France some tires for my car, without taking advantage of the fact that these vintage part are hard to find.
That's incredibly cool. 8)
I always wanted a fiberglass 12L as a kid but no tracks in my area raced 1/12 scale. Fast forward about 25 years and I finally picked up a sealed 12LW graphite kit. I need a 64-pitch spur and to trim a body and it will be finished.

You have some impressive builds lately! It would be so tempting to give em a run just to break them in a bit! I want to get several more pan cars but had to hold off after looking at my workbench!🤔
After some cleaning, fixing, dyeing, and replacing, I finally came up with something that looks pretty decent.
I bought someone's wreck off eBay a few years ago. The right side rear apparently took a good hit. The T-bar was cracked and most of the...

Wow!! Beautiful!
I'm interested by the hubs you used to mount 3 holes wheels. Is it that part: ? If yes, does it fit the diff without changing anything else?
It could be a good solution for my epoxy R12LW. 8)
This winter, when tidying my attic, I found back my old toys including a RC12LW I bought in 1993 when I was a teenager. This car almost never ran, maybe 100m of test drive in my parent's house driveway.
The box later suffered from a flood in...

At first, I thought I made a mistake when assembling the car back in the days. But I watched closely this afternoon and discover that my shaft end seems...
