I used primer and everything, the other one I am working on I did a better prep and no primer, just light paint and it looks much better. I dont have any pictures of that one.
yeah, I've done some 'skilled' paint can painting before....
Stripped the truck down to the Chassis. I just dumped all the other parts in a box for the time being. I have covered 1 side with
tape, and currently have a plastic sandable epoxy curing right now on all the excessive holes. Will check it after a day and sand level, and see how
it looks from there......
here is the just painted one it could use a light sand and touch up but as I plan to run it I wasnt worrierd about it. it had two 1 1/2 inch slots carved in it I guess to move the battery foward and back? plus a lot of holes ?

Looks good to me!
I just have to sand down my chassis again, and fill a few spots now from the top of the chassis where the epoxy did not go all the way threw, then a light mist of paint.
You're a fussy dude,Rick! That chassis looks real good.
Wow-A swiss cheese JRXT...Make that "I have a spare JRX2 in BETTER condition than yours I might be willing to trade!
Good ol' JB Weld is a winner for filling holes in vintage Losi chassis,too...
On one of my JRX2's someone decided to "reinforce" the front bulkhead by drilling right through the chassis and bulkhead then slipping 3 big, filthy 1/4" bolts and nuts in.
That bulkhead flew into the trash like it had wings. The chassis, however, with a little JB Weld.

What is different between the JRXT and Jrx2? I think I would rather clean this up as a Jrx2 shelfer, as that is my favorite car of my
racing past.
The one I got has RPM front & rear arms (not the sides) and say truck on them for the rears. Were they really that much wider than the Jrx2 links?
Erik
the difference between jrx2 and jrxt chassis is the front kickup, which is 20 degrees on the t and 30 on the jrx2. Iknow someone will correct me if I got that wrong but this is what I read somewhere. It might be vice versa.

Thanks....I also noticed that the rear 5 link lower arms are longer, and the side mounts are angled different as well. I will clean this one up as a truck, and still look for a JRX2

Your truck has the wide parts that were available from RPM. The stock XT had the same a-arms and 5 link links as the X2. Pretty rare to find all the parts intact. I would suggest restoring it as a truck and just find the buggy, especially with the prices that the losi stuff goes for.
I'm trying to get a quote to ship to Spain. I keep getting crazy prices. Any body have experience with this. I'm getting rates of anywhere from $80-$200. Any suggestions as to a reasonable service from California to Spain?
Long story short I need to provide an ebay seller with a US phone number for Fed Ex.
I bought an engine from Hong Kong and the seller doesn't ship to Australia, no problem, I'll just get it sent to a friend in the US, easy right? Seller comes back...

Maybe someone can help me understand what problems U.S. sellers face in shipping cars to Canada. I have seen quite a few RC10's on fleabay that I want to bid on , but they wont ship to Canada.

I'd be more than willing to ship outside of the U.S. if I could do everything from my computer, and be able to pay for the label through PayPal. I don't want to have to do anything at the post office but drop the package off at the counter and walk...
Can someone tell me if it's possible to get a form of Delivery Confirmation when shipping US Mail to Japan?

.UPS or Fedex might offer different services.
THink thumber hit this one on the head. USPS hands over mail to the country of designation so don't believe it will offer that but ups or fedex have global branches and will stay in their system til...
New to adding insurance. Promised $1000 on the car I sold and went to the post office today to get an idea on how much shipping is going to cost while I wait for payment. Anyways the girl behind the counter at USPS said I could only ad insurance to...

Looks like you found it as I was searching and typing. Thanks for looking.
We are no longer shipping international effective immediately. There will be no exceptions made. We have too many delivery issues at this time and the amount of orders is not enough to justify the headache of international orders.

Bummer, that's a shame about international shipping. :(
Personally I've never had a package go missing or damaged, but I can understand the frustrations.
