My New 10T Local Race Truck JASON RUONA build
Caught this one on the bay a couple of weeks ago but decided I did not need another truck. After I purchased some other parts from the seller I was informed the he was local and the truck did not sell, so I had to check it out. Evidently the truck was built by Associated Driver Jason Ruona for the 94' Winternationals down here. As soon as I saw it I could not resist. The milled chassis really won me over I even got a huge tub full of rims, tires and misc. new suspension parts. Not a bad deal considering the condition and it is ready to run. The dang battery is even still good!!! The body is slightly different then my other 10t's, has an extra hump in the cowl. Anybody have any ideas? Anyway just thought I would share some pictures.

Nice team driver truck! Everything all spec'd out and trick looking. As for the body, its the team truck body ('94 kit) where as the other body without the extra bumps on the sides of the hump for the front shocks was for the original rc10t and 10t sport truck.
Old school racing all the way!

Very nice. Were the A&L shock towers originally on that truck from bitd?
I am building a similar truck, along the lines of a World's Car. The World's Truck... I know they don't run trucks at the World's... Maybe call it a Nat's Truck.

i was wondering the same thing. you don't usually see aftermarket parts on team drivers car, unless they were sponsored by them. maybe he was sponsored by a&l/factory works..... daryl?templeofspeed wrote:Very nice. Were the A&L shock towers originally on that truck from bitd?
it has a PSE battery hold down, too.

The truck was built by jason for a local racer. Reading back on my origional post I realize I left this information out. Next time I meet up with him I will have to get some more info on the parts on the truck. Would love to see picts of your worlds/nats truck when done. Thanks guys.
