BLASPHEMY!!! OMG nice work,
problem is I just hate the hopper so much for the sole reason that it took tamiya what 20!?! years to let the concept of that awful rear axle setup go. the current desert gator or whatever actually seems to be a decent model to get started....
Still nicely crafted..

well, it is weird I admit
Hi there, Chewy..Thanks - I knew this would tweak some of you guys out there, can't wait to drive it, should handle pretty good over a stock Hopper....which dont handle at all actually.......lol, scollins
When in doubt, throttle out ...... scollins
in good time I will,
I need to get caught up on some other projects, but as I said in my description, I am trying to decide between pure Grasshopper box art paint /decals or something more RC10 based. Not sure, but when it is finished, painted up and with decals I will post final shots of it. scollins

Nice idea hoopty
I also like Hoopty's suggestion, I was gonna play around with some other ideas but this one strikes me as good right away....Will need some time to do this, dont expect to see pics of the finished model right away!
I am trying to finish a car I am custom building for club member toymkr73...Need to get that done first! scollins

Re:
No way, paint it exactly like the box art of the first RC10! That paint job is so unmistakeable everyone that saw it on the GH body would do a big WTF!!!badhoopty wrote:the grasshopper paint design, but use associated colors.

Scollins's been on the site last on june 6, but his last post dates back to september 2007
If you want to see what colourscheme it ended up with, you could try to search through his TC showroom.

I know Steve personally, he is a great guy and if you send him an email he will always respond. He recently did have a kid, so he is very busy these days.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.
