Nice. Fun build. Just make sure the rear z-link has no flashing and not overtightened.

I had one of these about 10 years ago. I bought it from a friend of mine and then sold it back to him about a year later. I regreted selling it ever since.
I'm torn between making it a shelf queen or running it. What are your opinions?

Another option I have is to build it as a Dual Sport. I have all the NIP parts to built it either way, buggy or DS. Thats going to be a tough decision to make.
By the way. What was the difference between the buggy and truck version of this kit? Just the rear arms or is the chassis longer also?

Re: Scored a new Tekin!!!!
the shock tower is different between the buggy and truck, if i remember right.
maybe this is a dumb question, but why would the truck chassis be longer?

Re: Scored a new Tekin!!!!
a 10t tub chassis is the same as a buggy. and being as though you still need to use a 10t noseplate on the tekin chassis, i don't see why they would make the chassis longer. there's no need to.Asso_man! wrote:truck chassies are always longer Jason, aren't they?

Re: Scored a new Tekin!!!!
The chassis itself isn't any longer between the two chassis, buggy or truck.......... the truck nose plates were the piece that gave adjustment in total wheelbase length with the two sets of holes, right?
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

ya............ that's what i was getting at. the only difference between the 2 kits should be the arms and the shock tower.
