Losi JRX Pro or early model XX
Re: Losi JRX Pro or early model XX
In terms of shells that are still available - A junior 2 shell is a direct fit... I just tried my XX shell on, and with a bit of trimming it looks like it will fit. It's a weeny bit too narrow, but I doubt it would notice once stretched over, there is very little in it.
Again, with trimming (a lot more!) A viper RC10 shell will fit.

i just saw losi had them listed # losa 8004. i don't know if you can still get them but it would be worth a shot.

Cheers Tom
But Mr Lexan has just read my mind where have you seen Junior 2 bodies or do you have a stash? Come on admit it you've bought out all the Losi bodies haven't you?

Re: Losi JRX Pro or early model XX
Yeah it says the Junior 2 and the XX although I wonder if they are really still available. All the work you guys did with contacting Team Associated will have to be done with Team Losi next to get some of these older cars up and running with new bodies.

Re: Losi JRX Pro or early model XX
horizon hobby does not list anything for the 8004 part number from losi, so it is most likely discontinued.
Re: Losi JRX Pro or early model XX
I got the last Jr.2 that Horizon UK had in stock a few months back. I was under the impression they would still be able to order them though. XX shells are still in stock with Horizon UK.

Re: Losi JRX Pro or early model XX
The XX and the J2 have been discontinued regardless of what Losi says. If Horizon doesn't have them, then they are no longer available from the factory, besides Horizon handles all the "Business" for Losi (so I am told).

Damn. I guess Horizon UK are not as up to date as Horizon US then
Horizon UK do have XX and XXL shells in stock for sale to UK customers. i can confirm that (as of three weeks ago anyway)

Guys I'm selling this JRX Pro it has the MIP gearbox but cant really vouch for the condition. I tried it out about a year ago for one run and it went well. The wheels and tyres arent the greatest and the body is pretty cr*p. PM with any offers.

like this one boysmrlexan wrote:Original SE bodies, to date, don't exist. I have never seen one.
Alternative-wise. Anything really can be made to fit, but keep in mind once fitted it might look like they mess together properly. I have two SEs and have not tried to put another body on it (yet). I suggest, just pick something and try it out.... then of course let is all know how it turns out.
