Kerblam

Post by shodog »

Well the inevitable happened and I got in an accident with the GX. I was traveling through an intersection that had the light out when a guy driving on a suspended license and no insurance, failed to stop and we collided. He tried to bail from the scene of accident but I chased him down three blocks where I eventually pinned him in between the curb and a semi truck. Here’s the carnage

Oof! Man, that sucks big time. Glad to hear the jerk didn't get away.

I hope this never happens to me, since I ride my bicycle to work. I doubt I'd be telling any stories if that old Ford ran a red light and t-boned me.

HERE HERE!!!! Thats what Im talkin about!!! WAY TO GO!!! Never let the criminals get away.

I helped the Manager of our neighborhood Walgreens (when we lived in N. Miami Beach) chase down a couple shoplifters (3 1/2 Gallons of booze). Probably almost got killed. Chased them to "their neighborHOOD", where about 20 of their "neighbors" started surrounding our vehicle. Had to floor it to get outta there. Almost "got" one of em. We let the Cops handle it from there.

Another time (in the same area), I chased a Guy who had Flashed some little girls (like 7 or 8 yo), and tried to get em in his WORK VAN, which was BOLDLY Logoed (dumbass). I was in my SUPER RUSTY, 3/4 ton '71 GMC Flatbed, but I chased him, and almost block him in a Mini Storage facility before the Cops took over.

If I was a Cop, Im sure I would be one those "loose canons" the Captain was always yelling on the TV Crime Dramas.

Sorry bout your GX, Dude.

Your Lexus did beat up his vintage Ford F-100 Ranger though, and seeing how this is a
vintage forum..................it still sucks, but I like that you caught him!

Thanks for the condolences. Surprisingly the police never questioned me about chasing the guy down. I took it to the body shop yesterday and the appraiser there said they may need to total it becuase a portion of the frame is damaged. My Insurance company is sending their appraiser tot he shop today and I'll know my trucks fate by this afternoon. My wife wants to sell the lexus and get a vintage ford bronco.

Probably several hundred pounds of homegrown. My guess is big bud or white widow.

Fleeing the scene of an accident is a felony. Someone is in big trouble.

Nope it was full of Purple Candy

My friend and his boy along with my boy were on our way to go dirtbike riding and needed to gas up the bikes. we were right across the street from the gas station when we had the accident.

I looked up the vehicle code, it's only Felony hit and run when there are injuries involved. Otherwise it'a misdemeanor hit and run.

Well didn't you scuff your elbow taking the dirtbag down? Sounds like an injury to me.

Could have used you the other day. Was doing a board up in a bad part of town and a group of brutha's cut the lock on the generator and made off with it. The beotch of it is, there was a police heli circling the area and several cop cars in the street at the time.
