Re: some passed japanese events.
Ed I got those parts posted off to Jasen for you yesterday. He should have them today as it is only local.
Also do you know where these Japanese guys are getting there Yokomo 870C dogfighter bodies from? They seem to have access to them enough.

Re: some passed japanese events.
I recognize some of the cars as being aku's and tanaka's, but they told me it's just search and be lucky; mainly on yahoo auctions.
(the youngest pics in this part of the site are from 2005)
Was it you who liked the brat so much? there's some pics of brats and a nicely modded frog in the top link , left corner too. But the translator doesn't work for those pages.
Thanks for shipping on those parts, Jasen/Jason, pretty easy mistake to make, sorry again.

Re: some passed japanese events.
I did find 2 of them in a old hidden away shop over a year ago. Sold boh of them here, luckily after finding out a bit on what they were worth
the brat in the blog is the same one I saw at tontonland: black white and red with a lot of red plastic parts too. What was the deal with that: I've seen white, red, yellow, blue and I think even purple parts on these cars. are they dyed or did they come in different colours depending on the dash you started from?

Re: some passed japanese events.
Im no real expert on the Brat. I bought both the Super Sprint and the #1 Brat kits at the same time from a former importer a few years ago. From what I have heard the factory team had some white parts but these red ones have thrown me. I know some of the Japanese guys have new parts repro'd but what would the demand be for the Brat? The car handles realy well but the roll out gearing is a little on the high side I think-cooking my motors even when they are undergeared. LOL.
So how much were you selling the 870c shells for back then??
