I'll take a Slayer, minus radio, in electric version, minus the traxxas electrics, in kit form, with an unpainted body.

I'll probably be waiting a while.

Once they start hitting the streets, there will be plenty of new parts on eBay to piece you one together

Anyone know anything about Thundertech's status? Seems like their website is nothing but delays and has been for a year now.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

An insider friend of mine says your close. $450 is going to be a close figure. What ever it is, it should be public any time. Slated to be released at the end of the month.
amainhobbies.com has them listed already, 459.99...NOT in stock.

they changed the truck ALOT from the original (and signature) thundertech design in the initial prototype. its still cool, and i'm sure the changes are for the better but its a little less exotic looking than it once was. there's been some heated discussion about it on other forums.

its still not available afiak, traxxas beat them to the punch big time. :(

Krylon...makes the world a brighter place

Told the LHS owner last night about the Slayer and we found some info on the traxxas forums and he planned on putting in an order today for 4 of them. Would be a great start here locally but his pricing he was thinking was gonna be around $600 for them...hope he found out different since I really like supporting LHS but for the difference I'll be ordering mine online :( .

Haha, exactly what I want as well.

This will have to do until the above is available:

Neighbor bought one today. Cool truck, but I think I like my Tamiya Ford F150 Prerunner just as much. Might not have the plush suspension, but it seemed to hold it's own fairly well for just bashing about. On a racetrack, my poor little Tamiya would get dusted for sure.

My Tamiya 959 is faster than both of them though.

Anybody know of an aftermarket gearset for my F150 so I can run a brushless in it?

So this topic has been a discussion on the RCTECH.net site (ask JKRacing) and someone posted a link to the following. Figured I share it if people hadn't seen it yet.

Thoughts?

I hope it is 18th scale. Then it won't make the Slash's worthless and I can get rid of my MiniT.

Hey hoopty, didn't you have an associated baja body mounted all low and stadium style on one of your buggies. I think the fenders covered the wheels too. I remember seeing it in your =rc10 collect= gallery long long ago.
