So there was a with or without painted body option, no surprise I suppose.

I was mainly after the body. For Jeeps, it is the most proportional.

The body on Inet's looks like the chevy I use on my home-made ultima conversion.
Mine came clear though, not pre-painted. It has the Andy's signature embossed on the back of the cabin.

Awesome thread. I love the early truck conversions. And, this settles it, now I know from the pics that my Jrx2 was definitely a JG conversion.
scr8p, I think most companies had a choice of bodies you could get with the conversion. Chevy and Ford for sure, and I'm pretty sure my JG conversion was a Nissan. I know I ran a Nissan body, I just don't remember if it came with the conversion kit or if I bought it separately.
I think I'm probably going to do an early truck conversion for that RC10 I recently picked up, tried to sell to fund my nats car, didn't sell and decided to hold on to. How's that for a run-on sentence.
