Argh! I completely forgot those were self tapping body posts when I swapped over to the metal standoffs for the kits. I guess I need to go back to the nylon posts
I was actually using a machine threaded aftermarket body post, but I still managed to snap it off (The threads aren’t great on the ones I’m using, needed to use my dye to recut the threads on another I used with an M3 nut). I prefer the metal stand off’s TBH, you could potentially do the same as the rear most body post, that seems to work well?
Yeah not sure about that, but should still certainly be eligible for vintage racing. It still carries the same suspension components and geometry.
Yeah it's still definitely vintage. Definitely a much easier chassis setup to work on especially with the electronics. I forgot how much of a pain it is to access the tub.
