This enlightening video popped up on my feed today, auto-dubbed in English too. Turns out all the RC10’s on the table at the Pine Beach event belonged to the same guy, TqToshi, who’s in front of the camera. All of them with motors had 540’s, most of them weren’t runners, but one he raced around the track, which was the RC10 with the mechanical speed controller that turns out didn’t have an AM receiver. Though now it makes sense how some of the 380 powered cars looked as fast as those from Del Mar… ‘cause apparently not all the cars on the track were 380 powered. Was neat to hear them talk about meets where everyone brings a particular car. Grasshopper meets, Ultima meets, RC10 meets, etc. Never heard of that in the US, but it’s a cool idea.
