I'm collecting parts for a Ten4.1 build and trying to decide which ones to go with.
JC Racing has a few options, in 3/16 and 1/4". I know that they are in the UK but my shipments have always been fast (check with Jeff, he has been selling some of their products).

With MIP coming with more RC10 stuff, they may do another run of CVD's.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

I was told next week for the MIP CVD’s by MIP customer service. Hopefully this is true.

I ordered from JC the day I left and the parts arrived while I was gone so the shipping is super fast but John is staying in the USA till next week, so nothing will ship until then. You could check with Hoosier RC that's where my JC stock went for the big race. I don't think he had any though.

The trans is awesome for 2wd use but won't work for 4wd. You have to have a stealth, and the FanRC case won't fit until he updates it to the non world's rere style. As it stands you would need an AE case for it to work. His bearings are in the idler not in the case exactly like the old world's car rere. All the current rere cases are like the original and are usable. The AE stuff is weird though, like running changes and stuff. There are some cases out there that will only fit the current outdrives, and other cases will fit both outdrives, but you might need shims. It's just stupid but worst case scenario you will need the case and outdrives. Really it's just best to get a parted out trans kit off eBay until they release the trans separately

Although out of stock it does appear to be a whole kit.

There's now a listing for stealth gear diffs hidden on the associated website. Not the old sc10 one.

Oh that would be nice. I did ask someone from AE about them selling the trans as a kit. The answer was yeah wait about a week. That was in December. Lol sounds right on time.

91008, I'm an idiot. That's the old SC10 4x4 diff. I got caught up with all the stuff that's showing up.

Sorry, not an April fools joke.

Thanks. Just went to JC Racing and as I was checking out I noticed it was $58 for a pair of universals. If it wasn't the only item I need from JC Racing at the moment, it would be a bit more appealing. My team car can settle for it's current dog bones at that price. I'll scoop up a pair of MIP CVD's for the Ten4.1 as soon as they come out.

I'll order multiple JC Racing RC10 1/4" universals if I can get a handful or more of folks here the U.S. who would want them. Would be roughly $10 less a pair, depending how many. Any takers, let me know.

Also check with Eddie at Hoosier RC, I don't think he has them on the wall but they might be coming

Was there any word from MIP about a release date for their 4wd conversion kit?

nothing firm, the car he had was still using many vintage parts so the new molds are likely not made yet. He said the carriers and steering arms will be machined nylon so those should be straightforward. Even the belts he had were vintage parts. He also said that once he gets back from the race its going to be testing and more testing, so id have to believe we are a solid couple months out
