Daryl, I just stumbled on this picture in an old French magazine, it shows (bottom picture) an A&L prototype car that was run at the World Championships in Detroit in '91. The legend says "long a-arms, long shock travelling, extreme rigidity, the A&L prototype borrows the same recipes as the best 2wd buggies". Could you please let us know more details about the car? It has a yellow Lethal Weapon tranny, Novak NER 2-X receiver, AE gold shocks, Novak ESC (can't read the name of the model), Delrin/Nylon proto a-arms and Yokomo wheels at th rear! It looks AWESOME and it's the first time I ever come across it!

That was me. :D

It came on my LXT. It was made for an RC10T though I guess, because the previous owner had holes cut in the back of the body so the shocks would clear.

I remember the "slam it low" name from bitd. I didn't remember what the boy looked like though, nice trip down memory lane. (no pun intended)

That paint job is stunning. 8)
