Well I have some time to wait. I don't feel rushed to get Fan parts in fear that they will soon be extinct.

Will I need shims for the CVA's at all 4 corners or they also included? I've heard similar discussion about the CVA's popping out and using shims and/ or shock shaft spacers as I heard while building the FR-01. The Fan kit ultimately had all the right spacers and shims and worked fine for me as long as everything was built right.

Interesting, mine definitely did not come with shims. Also intersting they are pushing the bearing around instead of shimming it on the outdrives.

I had to mess with the shock mounting to get the bones to stay in as is typical, basically you lose your droop. You can't really fix the problem all you can do is band-aid it.

The short axle shafts are a real problem, especially in the rear. My fix was to turn new spacers and outboard flanges. .080" inboard spacers with .030 thick outer flanges plus moving the lower shock mounts out and limiting down travel got it to where the doggone pins are into the meat of the outdrive cups, not riding in the chamfer.

The second major issue I've found with this kit is one I expected during assembly. The belt tensioner doesn't have enough adjustment range, so the belt will slap the battery when in use. Plus when it's maxxed, the little tensioner arm is down. This allows the belt to pop off the front sprocket and wind up riding on the plastic flange to the inside when the belt warms up and becomes longer and more pliable. Last night I modeled and 3D printed a stand-alone tensioner that mounts over and to the left of the left chassis stiffener, which also has a guide to prevent the belt slapping the battery on landings. I'll be testing it on my track today, see if design revisions are necessary.

Larger pulleys, better tensioner, shims, etc.

Yep, all of the above. The braces are being machined, same with the pulleys. Shims are already stocked and towers are already on the website.

I mean seriously, so annoying, like how hard is that. Hell if they can't be exact, just add 2mm to whatever they think it should be and save us all the headache. No more of this how it used to be crap, it's a $500 kit with tax. I can buy a $99 RTR off Amazon where the driveshafts stay in. Rant off
