This is a custom chain drive Tamiya Frog. Be sure to zoom in on the pics to see all the details. It has an ultra tall gear ratio with this setup. The B&R that was originally chosen for the build just didn't have enough torque, so in went a Lemans 550 360ST unit. It worked perfect. It is not just a shelf queen, we drive it and its quieter than a nuclear submarine. So smooth. Want to thank Dadio for designing the chain drive parts that were needed. Ok, so this is the car that has the misfortune to be owned, and even worse driven by me
My “transponder-carrier” B6.X started as a B6.1, but received a few updates like:
- B6.2 rear suspension, mainly due to parts availability
- B7 KPI mod up front, not 100% on it yet. But for now it gets to stay
- Oople decal, cause Jimmy will always be awesome
- 5.5 motor, cause “happy, happy, joy, joy”
- An actual antenna...
The body is a custom shell by one of our club members. It’s actually designed to fit de B6.4, but...ehhh.. close enough
(Note: Filler car, plz vote for a car that actually deserves it)

My builds are quite involving, and they are taking time : on this one it reached another level.
Not a single original part was used.
Lot of 3D prints and home made parts, some replacemnt parts widely available, and we have a *not* Zerda, and it took about 2 years and a half to get there between the first element on the drawing board and those pictures. (And thanks to @Dadio for the few hints and leads he provided me for to drill the diff shafts properly) And here is a quick run video
Builds details are starting here : https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?p=575340#p575340

Time warp graphite, looks like it was used a couple times and put away. It's all original and all I did was clean it up.
I was old school - when old school wasn't cool !

Yokomo MX4 still with its first 1998 airbrushed shell, KoPropo EX1 Mars radio, PS-2004 FET servo, Novak Cyclone, Reedy Fury and Keil V+ pushed 2000s. Take a look at the battery. The shrink tubing on one cell is mounted upside down. Funfact: the battery box also shows it the wrong way round (compare it with your cells, the "2" belongs on the side with the positive pole). Back to the point: This was used for promotional runs in the late 90s when onroad racing gained all popularity from offroad. At some point, it became clear that the efforts to make Offraod great again were no longer working. Then the things in the photos were thrown into a time capsule. Good luck to all us freaks.

An announcement will be made when it's time to post your pics. And it'll look a little something like this...
