1986 was a classic year. Two big things happened. Friday The 13th part VI was released in theaters, also, me and my brother bought and split our first rc hobby kit, The Marui Big Bear. This kit started our 40 year journey in the hobby. This was restored over last couple years and does include the original machubi m480rs motor. Click on pics for clarity.

This ´99 Yokomo Super Dogfighter 2 got revived last year to celebrate its **25th_anniversary** on track, racing against modern buggies at LRP Offroad Challenge. In compliance with the series rules, I made it LiPo-ready using Yokomo rere Shorty-holder combined with LRP IPC speedo and LRP S12 Twister motor. It went okay overall but she was way too capricious while jumping on astroturf. Therefore her latest destination will be chilling on shelf after hot BOTM shooting.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - February 2025 ** - Winner - 1300GT
My recently rebuilt JRX Pro SE I've been running in the Silvercan class.
My first hobby grade rc was this same model, granted not this exact car seen here, as that was long sold off in the 90s. This car came to me as a complete basket case but has since been rebuilt with a number of goodies and mods. I pieced together the XX retrofit transmission and CVDs over a few months and added a double slipper setup from the later XXX models. It has a home brew Jammin' Jay steering mod, A&L Steering rack, RPM front Arms and Rod ends. The titanium tie rods are Dragon Punch RC units that looks a lot like the old Lundsford ones. The shocks are liberated from a TLR 22x-4 and are mounted to Vintage RC carbon towers. The JC Racing wheels wrapped in Schumacher Fusion Slim up front and Mezzo rears help put the power down on the carpet. I designed a battery hold down to facilitate the use of Lipo Shorty packs. For electronics it uses a Savox 1258 for steering, a Novak G7, mounted centrally behind the Team New Wave 2s shorty lipo, and connected to the Core21 motor that is the class spec. Team Bluegroove replica body tops it off with a twist on the box art that I came up with and had painted by Dominator Airbrushing. Overall the car drives amazing and handles the modern high grip track pretty well. I look forward to driving it at more events!Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Had the kit when I still lived in Maine, but didn't build it until now because I got cancer. Jesus cured me, so now I don't have cancer anymore, but a renewed motivation to complete all the kits and parts cars that were sitting in my storage. I never had a real desire to get an Ultima until I saw Shodog's Ultima here on RC10Talk (Rest in Peace). Wanted to paint it like his, but, I didn't want another one like his to exist, it was HIS creativeness that made it, so I did my own paint. Moved back to Las Vegas and started building all the kits and parts cars that were sitting in my storage when I moved, so here it is.

Tamiya’s 100th kit. The Top Force. Fully rebuild with stainless hardware and period correct electronics (including the battery). Yokomo MX4 hubs and wheels. I cut out all the green from the decals as it didn’t match my theme.

Looks like the 11th entry got chopped. Hopefully he brings it back for submission next month.
Noony, you're allowed 2 pics if you want to add another.

Is there a build thread? The front wheels look like the old Schumacher 3 spokes.
