That's a great looking chassis! Love the lines. Wheels are great too. Are you planning to build it up?

Very nice! And it even has some decent carbon fiber. The late-80's early 90's early HPI had crappy looking carbon fiber much like the early RC10L parts. The epoxy wasn't full/smooth so always has lots of divets and inconsistencies but those particular parts look excellent. Would love to have that example.

Would have been a dream 10L for me as a kid! I got as far as the kick up lower pod plate with mine and that was it. Really nice looking build you’ve got there!

Eventually will add electronics, paint Associated Nissan GTP body, and might change the wheels.
Place on display case.

Im the opposite, i love the HPI texture graphite. I love the early release 10L chassis’s. To me they feel and look like real carbon fiber with the actual fibers still poking out. Yo me the flat glass looking carbon fiber of today looks fake. The glass looking new stuff looks cheap to me while the vintage graphite/carbon fiber looks so quality.

Nice. I'm not a carbon fiber expert but I am quite anal and ocd  the early RC10L chassis almost looks like cardboard in a way. I never cared at the time but in re-making some of my originals I find I gravitate toward the smoother stuff. In any case this car here is absolutely amazing. It's deserves some period electronics.
