Oops, I did it again. Offerup RPM Ultramold
I cannot stop buying vintage buggies. This Ultramold popped up last night on Offerup and for $150 I could not not buy it. I mean, come on. It's freaking awesome! It also came with a box of spares including a NIB set of MIP CVDs for a goldpan and a OS .15 CVR engine.

If you need a shelf for that plastic fantastic to sit on..... I'm sure I could make room.

See, I told you. It's just a matter of time before you were going to get yourself an rc10 with a stealth transmission. A very nice one as well with it being an RPM ultramold. Now all bets are off and there will no longer be a limit to your collection, great find!!!

You predicted it. It didn't rake long either, did it. These little buggies are more addictive than drugscarloco8 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 11:41 pm See, I told you. All stripped down and ready for cleaning and reassembly. Looks to be in really nice (by my standards) condition. But definitely run hard and fast, good since I plan on doing the same. Shelf queens are cool, but seeing them in action is where it's at.

Great find dude, looks to be in very nice condition

Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out

I can understand wanting to run it around a bit without bashing, but if you break a part it could take some time to source a new one. Too many proprietary parts on an Ultra Mold to run it regularly or in a race.

For $150 that's fantastic!
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

That is true. We'll see. I may end up shelfing it or selling it once the restoration is complete. I hate seeing the greats of rc getting shelved due to value and rarity, but in the end it does make sense.

It cleaned up so nice. Need some rear tires and servo mounts still. You guys were right. There's no way I can run this. It's remarkably clean.
