As Jeff stated, Premier Designs Bat Wedge. I have one I picked up awhile back for the exact same reason. I know a guy that has a few more, and I pick up a few bodies from him every time I go out there, so I am sure at least of couple more of these will end up in the garage.
So what did you get in the post today ???

When 2wd cars are running no lift, then it's whomever has the best batteries to last 4 minutes with the most powerful motor. The 2wd cars were faster than Dominators instantly when this body hit, and when that happened, it was a short time before the battery game (7-cell SCE) forced even the best drivers to look elsewhere for racing options.
It was a war of the best battery matchers, and the guys with the deepest pockets or team/factory connections.
Most left dirt oval racing completely when that happened.

I made the mistake of shipping my favorite box and thought I'd never see it again, but thankfully it came back to me with this packing material inside. I have just the right TRX-1 chassis for these wheels. Now if only someone would sell me their Bud's paint scheme TRX-1 body to go with it, I could complete that buggy.
Some awesome Factory Works custom parts showed up too. They're always top notch!

I got a pair of vintage front shocks from a Kyosho Raider because I needed the upper spring retainers for my current OG Ultima build.

Besides dirt oval I recall it being mentioned they also made for good insane speedrun bodies.Frankentruck wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 6:46 pmIf you can spare one, I don't know what I'd do with it either but I'd like to get one. There’s no markings on them but they seem hobby grade.E0A4B714-2625-4F15-A640-6194D62A3BB8.jpeg1234D427-53B0-481F-9559-81D073CB8998.jpeg

...and good for making an RC Batmobile! Who doesn't need one of those?
I think it would go on my Jammer.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
A very good friend and co-racer of mine had the Bat Wedge on his 10L and had one of his senior pictures taken with it. Between the car being in it, the shirt he was wearing and the haircut he had, I'll have to see if I get him to send me a copy.
This would have been '92-'93.

That would be funny to see, I’m sure he’d get a laugh out of reminiscing old embarrassing times.THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2025 9:12 am A very good friend and co-racer of mine had the Bat Wedge on his 10L and had one of his senior pictures taken with it.
