I guess most of the forum members here can answer that one 4 you. YES you do need special lexan or polycarbonate colors for the bodies. There are numerous brands around, I've used Custom Cloors, and Pactra so far. Tamiya also makes decent paint, so I've heared, both spray cans, and airbrush oh and brush paints...

Hope this helps.

Received my never run World's car today, I must say it looks quite virgin  front wheels are a bit faded, holes in the front tires  and... waiting for Erich to pop those darn Mirage bodies (hint, hint!) :P

Very nice, David! I have a chassis that's waiting for the Erich body too. Did you every get an Ultima body for the XL? One on ebay just sold for over $100. :o Though, you can get one for much cheaper from Marwan.

Thanks! I still haven't purchased the Ultima body, I know they're also available from Kamtec, but you get the decals with the ones from Marwan... I saw that original body selling for big bucks, not everyone is aware of the alternatives it seems. Or maybe they NEED another Kyosho header card?

I won't have much time left in the near future, most of my collection is now packed, I kept a few queens for the baby's room  and I'm afraid I'll be more a watcher here when he will be there, that most probably makes the World's car one of the very last addi(c)tion to my collection. I will also have to sell a few of my cars...
