What's in the mail? Or, What are you currently waiting for?

When it's R/C related, but doesn't fit anyplace else.

Amain has me waiting 10+ days for Deans Ultra plugs. Amain is in Chico, CA, I'm in Walnut Creek, CA - that's about 3 hours away.

I only needed the Male Deans Ultra plugs, for a 120A ESC, and the high temps possible. When I ordered the male plugs from Amain:
https://www.amainhobbies.com/deans-high-temp-male-ultra-plug-2-1216awg-wsd1321/p1333025

- they suggest the Female Add-On plugs for pretty cheap, I bought the females too in case I wanted to do a high temp extension cable at some point.

Amain in Chico, CA had the the Male plugs in stock, and showed the female were in stock too. Bought them both. Get a notice that the Female plugs are in North Carolina and would be shipped separately than the male plugs, didn't need the Female, the Male are what goes on the ESC and had no problem waiting for the Femals plugs.

But Amain waited until the North Carolina female shipment arrived here 9 days later, and then sent the male plugs I needed most, today.

I really don't expect anyone to read or understand this nonsense, so if you truly did - sorry for wasting your time now too, and thanks for reading!

I and Im sure many others here totally get what you are saying. Sometimes you need just one part to complete a project and you have to order it, waiting and watching the shipping status with anxiety, and just about having a panic attack when you notice it is delayed somewhere or potentially lost in route LOL!!! I think some members have even had packages make it to their local post office only to be sent back around the country again before coming back or eventually getting lost........

Your 3 hour estimate does not include the 11 day site-seeing trip across America USPS trucks often take. Cue the Benny Hill theme....

You wont regret it. Its sweet! The changes were mostly going to 3mm screws, although the front bulkhead is 4 screws now. I'm thoroughly impressed even though I hate the shocks.

To be fair the original shocks were leaky and horrible , a better choice would have been to try and use something period looking like AE gold's but they are quite short .

Really looking forward to being able to paint indoors, and in the best lighting and weather conditions. I don't think this booth is strong enough, or made for Tamiya spray paints, or solvent based paints, need to read up on that and test it.
