Re: Blasphemous T2 retro racer
How blasphemous is it? Is it still going to be a T2 stadium truck?

Re: Blasphemous T2 retro racer
But it's not becoming a B1.5 (which are cool), so running a nice T2 is maybe just using the T2 how it was meant to be used.

Re: Blasphemous T2 retro racer
I say go for it! T2's are great runners. Definitely the most fun chassis to customize if you ever want to cut down chassis sides and trim motor plates without sacrificing any rigidity. Otherwise, all you may want to do is maximize track width with wide front axles and for the rear b4/t4 axles and spacers or t4 rear hexes if you want to use hex wheels in the back.
Old school racing all the way!

Re: Blasphemous T2 retro racer
I agree its hard to make the decision to run such a clean chassis, but I say go for it. That's what they were made for. I usually just run the JConcepts #1155 clear chassis protector and do double the thickness in the skid areas on my chassis that are clean it keeps them nice.

Chassis tape is slow.
Some minor progress since the rest of the gear is cleaned up from the VONATS

Legend has it that PAM has been used to control brake dust on various components in racing applications.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Re: Blasphemous T2 retro racer
Plan will be to add 13mm T6.4 shocks on it, widen the front end with adjustabiliy options for axle height and width, rear CVD and rear hubs with increased roll center and axle height options, titanium turnbuckles and pins, 3mm ball studs, RC10 worlds or Factory Works steering and new electronics, then sell off the new built stuff like shocks and such to offset the cost a bit. Might paint the OE T2 shell tonight

Re: Blasphemous T2 retro racer
Little more progress. Ti parts on, ballstuds changed geometry updated. The front end was a lot of work to get the bump steer corrected. Kinda surprised me honestly
