The Diamond One's Dirt Oval Ultima

Post by coxbros1 »

This is a replica I am doing using all vintage parts....it's replicating an Ultima the Diamond ๐Ÿ’Ž One raced in the 80's....the chassis was a beat up pile I restored, along with the TrackMaster tranny...it will be a slow process, but here's the start

I like that transmission, such a simple design.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

That is coming together nicely. Since it is a replica, I assume you already have plans for the body and paint scheme.

Thanks...sure do...it's based on a Pontiac Grand Prix with STP livery...that's how he had it back in the day...got the body but haven't started on it yet

Now waiting on body posts, and for the Diamond ๐Ÿ’Ž One to finish the body and wheels/tires....remember, he's doing it the way he raced it back in the late 80's
