If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Nothing to do with RC, but that made my day yesterday.
Spent some time as a Couch potato yesterday watching the Olympics...
Yesterday during the Judo mixed teams final, the intensive minutes on my Garmin Fenix watch shows how much it is intense to watch such a great final... That's real couch potato sport! And while French team won, Japan proposed us one of the greatest finals ever...

This caught my eye at a car show: a Parker 4bbl intake on a 4 cam Ford.

They look nice per se, but a major pet peeve of mine is when manufacturers started selling "sport" or track inspired versions of trucks with extended, quad, crew cabs etc...
This is my reaction every time.

The yellow dust that blows out Korea comes from the Mongolian plains. I hate it. Stupid jetstream...Dadio wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 5:01 amWe get this from time to time, covers everything in yellow dust .radioactivity wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2024 5:44 pm Saharan Dust

EV or not, that is hideous. EV just adds one more strike.
Someone will come along soon enough and raise the front about four inches, making the package complete.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Saw one in person this weekend, at the Pomona Antique car swapmeet - thoroughly did not like it. I know it may be unnecessary on an EV, but dammit, give me a grill.

Geez... another example why designers at GM need to be canned and jailed for a minimum of 12 dozen dropped bars of soap. Every one of their vehicles is a disgrace to our country. Hope they go bankrupt and someone with enough taste to distinguish the difference between salt and sugar buys them out.

Trust me, you don't want that. Take it from someone in a country where there used to be a number of mainstream manufacturers.... but now there are NONE.

Finally had a weekend without babysitting the MIL, so the wife and I day tripped to Yorktown, Va on Saturday. It was just a fun day out, but the camera phone surprised me with a couple of pics.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.
