And time for a bath (not sure if rear shock tower can be saved, it is pretty bent).
Motor is also locked up solid, like last time I’ll leave it to last.

Re: Kyosho Burns MP-1 Restoration
Thia seems like a really clean rebuild. Seems like you got a really good buggy to start the build from.
Frankensteined RC10T3 / Franky Jr RC10GT-e (x2) / A+ stamp / Toy Story RC / Graphite replica / B1.5 BFG 5LTi / Clonewald / Hyper Hornet

Re: Kyosho Burns MP-1 Restoration
Thank you, I totally agree FT, this one was actually in really good shape all things considered and it is cleaning up quite nicely.
Quick question, the black rubber bung that mounts to the fuel tank, any suggestions on a potential replacement or alternative? It’s one of those pieces I have to assume I will never find lol and this one is just a black mushy mess now.

Re: Kyosho Burns MP-1 Restoration
While I am sourcing a couple of parts (rear shock tower, rear gold shocks, body, fuel line bung) I decided to clean up the rims. Silver paint all over the place and although they are beat (and glued), they are the original tires. Some acetone and lots and lots and lots of scrubbing, got them pretty close…not 100% but definite 4 footers lol
