Your favorite ESC (with photo)

Not an expert on this subject at all, but an ESC that I was introduced to recently is definitely my favorite so far, simply for its programmability. The Zeta Micro. Via a dipswitch programmer, the following can be set or adjusted: Trigger Start Position, Trigger Full Position, Trigger Start Brake Position, Trigger 100% Brake Position, Trigger End of Brake Position, Trigger Start of Throttle Position, Trigger Full Speed Position, Variable Brake Amplitude, Acceleration Rate, Trigger Response Curve .................and this is from a 1989'ish ESC!!

I was digging for some Zeta info and took another look at your post. That is a serious heat sink on that brake FET! Any background info on that?

ESCs are a little like auto transmissions to me .................. I'll leave the inside workings to the pros.

Thread Bump. This Traxxas XL-3 esc is one I searched for a long time. I love it for how it looks, and how rare they are.
