Trinity Switch Blade 10 Ad

Post by Dangeruss »

Trinity introduced the Switch Blade 10 in 1997 to replace its Evolution 1/10th scale race cars. A new symmetrical graphite chassis utilized saddle pack battery mounts with graphite retaining plates on the pan car. The front suspension, dubbed Radical Reactive Caster, used two fixed plastic lower a-arms connected by a graphite brace and redesigned single turnbuckle plastic upper a-arms to simplify adjustments in geometry. Damping remained coil over kingpin up front and Trinity's Triad coil over suspension with oil-filled aluminum bodied shocks was retained in the rear. A new graphite plate motor pod housed the ball differential equipped direct drive with a graphite composite Super Tooth spur gear, graphite axle, and aluminum hubs. Full bearings and TRC wheels with green dot tires were included.

Trinity also released a superspeedway version of the Switch Blade, the 10SS, in 1997 that featured an asymmetrical graphite plate chassis with wide left mounted inline battery slots and a uniquely shaped and braced graphite plate motor pod with inline and offset mounting options. Supplied with the 10SS were both Triad and t-bar rear suspensions and Jaco green dot wheels and tires:
