In 1995 Trinity replaced the Revolver 12p with their new Revolver 22j. Based off Joel Johnsons 1994 championship winning car updates to the 22j started with its redesigned and lightened pan style graphite chassis plate. Trinity's Reactive Castor front suspension remained but now featured a lightened graphite axle plate as well. Weight savings were also found in the rear with a more sculpted graphite motor pod suspended by a Delta style aluminum bodied coil over shock with lateral dampening tube. The ball diff equipped direct drive with its Magic spur gear, hollow graphite axle and aluminum hubs remained as well as a full complement of bearings, but wheels and tires were switched to Jaco green dots. Most obvious was the switch to all aluminum fasteners in a purple anodized finish for that last ounce of weight savings:
