XLS rere prices
Was looking to grab one a few months ago but got sidetracked - now I can’t find on for sale under $875!? Think these will be made again or is this just how things are now with rarity and inflation?

Re: XLS rere prices
I should have gotten one when they were at a more reasonable price. But I have too many cars in various stages of rebuilds and don't have any more room to put them.

Re: XLS rere prices
Price of the CAT XLS was $309. Just did a quick search and hot damn folks have them for sale at ridiculous prices. I picked one up at the local HobbyTown when they were still available for $309.

Re: XLS rere prices
Would be nice to see them release this one again. I was sort half in half out of the hobby at the time. I watch for them on ebay but now they are way out of what I'm willing to pay for one.
They are a great looking buggy.

Re: XLS rere prices
Agreed! On both accounts: it looks great and it should be re-re-released.

You can build one from a (still available) Pro CAT. It doesn't have to cost a ton depending how accurate you want it to be. Jeff has the lower chassis and Schumacher has the body/undertray. That gets you the look. The Pro CAT has the Top Cat rear suspension and a better transmission, but both are mods folks did back in the day. It would get pretty spendy, though, if you were going for a perfect recreation.
