These went for about 12 minutes in the bath. These are Edinger, 40th, and FanRC parts, they all took the Dyemore really well using just the directions on the back of the bottle. The shock towers may get another bath, or painted at some point.

Had only one servo block, no extra transmission brace, and forgot the steering assembly. This was very easy to do, and cheap. Will make another bath when the missing parts arrive.

The CE battery cups match the dye too.

Movie car #2:

Is anyone making gold phillips screw kits for the RC10? Seems like I was at an online shop that had the gold screws a while back, and now I can't find that site.

Dave Geitner on facebook sells them, and TeamKNK sells them on their site as well. Really nice screws, $1 a pop.

I went to KNK, but can only find the Stainless kit, or black oxide, would you have a link to the gold kit? Thanks!

Dhawk just got back to me with the design for TDP wheels.

Harry finding the front wheel:

Can anyone see any problems with these drawings, before they are sent to production?

I can't find anything that would bother me about the final product, based on these drawings. Knock offs are coming too.

Rook's Tx from the movie.

Pretty sure I have those same gloves too .

$10 from ebay.

Came with tiny little vintage G plug servos and another FP-R4H.

Just found out that the Futaba FP-T4L Tx, has throttle and steering combined on the right stick.

As preposterous as the notion is of this movie being based in any truth or reality, when they show Rook driving the RC vette in the movie, he uses the right stick only, and technically this Tx would allow for exactly that.

Built the 6-gear for TDP car, and the 40th.

Using the asc6693 spur, I have two leftover diff balls from the inner ring. The outer ring I wouldn't have enough of these.

Was I supposed to buy more diff balls to use this 48p?

My memory is failing but aren't the inner holes for screwing the gear to a slipper clutch?
I think if you've fully populated the outer set of holes, you should be good. For reference, an early AE spur only holds 8 balls so installing more is just a bonus.

what do you mean by "inner ring"? There's only 8 balls that go in the spur gear.

Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

There's only (6) inner holes, and (12) outer holes. So the pattern is strange with (8) diff balls.

The asc6693 Kimbrough 81T 48P spur gear, has (18) holes in it, not sure what I was supposed to do here.

I have another (10) diff balls, should I really add all of them? Seems like overkill.

I've lost track of the total number of balls you have but I think you'll want to fully populate the outer set of holes and ignore the inner ones.
Having the balls in the outer holes will transfer power more effectively than having them in the inner ones.

Yes, installing balls in all 18 holes is overkill - unless, perhaps, you're planning to run an extreme HP motor

I'll give it a try immediately, thanks!

I guess that means that anyone that wants to use a 6693 spur gear, would need to buy an additional (4) diff balls at least, to make it work with the RC10 classic.
