Converting to metric fasteners
So I ran into an RC Screwz kit for the B4.2 in metric sizes. I’m under the impression that the RC10B series didn’t make the switch to metric until the B5, and I vaguely remember using imperial drivers on my FT B4.2 (don’t remember for sure).
Dumb question but will the metric screws bolt right on?

They will work, but they will make they widen the screw holes. So once you use them, you will be stuck there. They are close, but not a direct replacement. If you are going to do it, best get a M3 Tap and tap the threads or if you have worn plastics you could helicoil them to a m3 thread.

Metal parts like the motor plate won't thread unless you re-tapped them to 3mm. The upper shock mounts and steel balls in the shock ends won't fit 3mm unless you change them, and any through hole will be tight and need to be opened up.
What do they offer for the 5-40 threaded screws? 4mm?

Thanks. The plastics are fairly beat to crap, it looks like. The undercarriage looks pretty scratched up. Got an RPM front bumper coming in.
