Gyro placement?

Gyro placement?

Under what circumstances do you position a gyro forward on the servo or rear near the trans on a 2wd vehicle? Or center for that matter. Does it matter?

I don't understand the need for a gyro? Ok on a drift car maybe but for an RC10 there shouldn't be a need, unless you are really new to rc, but then you should not use it for too long or you will get lazy and not learn how to control the car.

@gtv1 the car above is a converted GT that does speed runs. Line holding is an important feature for this application.
