I was excited at first to get one of these but then lost that feeling quickly
I just picked up some.of the bodies instead to paint for now.

Did anyone get one of the group of CCs that were supposed to go out in February? Just wondering if they went out.

Not one run, a normal production item. Over here we are already getting a second batch of cars. Still no clear spares though.

AE's site states they will not be producing clear parts. They are only available in the kit.
Or choppers on ebay at some point.

Nope.. Ordered mine the day they were available and still nothing.. I ordered it from Amain and was able to get the $319 price as it was within an hour or so of it being available.. And i'm pretty sure that's the reason why I haven't gotten mine yet.

Same story with my Cougar. I learned that Amain uses customer "status" to fill backorders. So even if you pre-ordered, folks with a higher status who ordered later will get one before you do.Rabidtrout wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2024 8:49 amNope.. Yeah cost doesn't play into it just status with Amain. I used their $30 off coupon bringing my CC down to $290 and was able to get one as I buy a lot from them

Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....
Correct, exactly what I said. Or meant at least. It's status based.

I ended up canceling my preorder/back order. Ended up using that money on other stuff for now. Maybe one day they’ll be available.

Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....
I just got a similar email to when they were first released stating they were in stock again, and one was being held for me for the next 2 days. Found it kind of weird. Unfortunately I no longer have the funds like I potentially did the first time around.

Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....
I got the email over night even though I didn't put my name on the 2nd list, and I went through the checkout process just to see if they actually did have one for me this time, and shockingly, they did.
I then canceled it.

Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....
Went in this morning to Amin and was going to cancel my order and spend that money on a decent gold pan. Imagine my surprise seeing that it was being packaged to ship, which is a change from yesterday. Guess the gold pan is going to have to wait for now. Id rather pay $319 for this thing than the $399 I would have to pay if I canceled if I picked it up at a later date. Will make a nice center piece between my rebuilt graphite RC10 and RC10T.
