Landjump 4D
Hello everyone, it’s been a while.
I’ve just purchased a Landjump 4D.
It hasn’t arrived yet so I’m waiting with anticipation.
I’ve always fancied one of these and this one came up so decided to take the plunge.
I plan on restoring it and adding it to my now mainly Tamiya vintage collection from the 80s and early 90s.
Here’s the pictures from the advert.
I’ll give an update once it arrives.

Re: Landjump 4D
Nice. Looks very complete - helps a lot with the restoration as some parts can be hard to find and $$$. Glad to see you back with a Kyosho
my favorite brand!

Thanks for the welcome back, appreciate it.
There’s some great Kyosho builds on this group, hopefully this will be one too.
Looking forward to it arriving and getting stuck into tearing it down.

Re: Landjump 4D
Okay, so the Landjump arrived and I’m pretty pleased with it.
It’s going to take a lot of cleaning up but on the plus side, it looks to be all there apart from the driver and air filter.
I’ve started stripping it, think I’m going to look for a stainless steel nut and bolt kit for it.
The roll cage hasn’t been painted, think I’ll send it off to get powder coated yellow.
The engine fitted is an OS 21FSR but it’s very dirty.
It came with an unused Picco P21 SE Buggy engine.
Should I fit the Picco or clean up the OS?
It also came with the box lid, pretty tatty but with some care and attention it could be restored I think.
