I thought there was going to be some excitement when the cat arrived on the scene. He lost interest pretty quickly, though
Right?! I was expecting him to reach in and *WHAP!*
Stumbled onto this video... shockingly good resolution for a 1989 VHS tape on YouTube.
Pretty sure everyone is gonna want to tune in @ 13:50...

Did I get this from here? I feel like I got this one from RC10Talk.
Dunno if it'd been on here before but, he builds exceptionally well detailed hot wheels. Adding radio control to the mix is impressive. I liked how when he was testing the motor it sounded like R2D2. Speaking of anthropomorphized objects... I really enjoy this Traxxas video. The father & son dynamic played out with R/C cars is just too comical.
Oh man, I know exactly what you mean. There's something about watching RC videos that just gets you hyped to break out your own gear, or even splurge on a new toy. And if you're into making your own RC videos, I've been playing around with this super easy green screen software free. It's been a game changer for making my videos look way more professional, or just adding some fun effects.
My son... ask for thyself another kingdom... for that which I leave is too small for thee.

I follow PopalongRC as they are quite entertaining rc club racers mainly covering modern racing but they do some vintage as well. https://www.youtube.com/@PopalongRC/videos
I've been rather liking their series of videos on rebuilding an abandoned St. Alban RC track:
