Oil filled gear diffs and big bore shock wtf not really a vintage rere, would be nice to have an option as neither of those are legal to use under our vintage rules

I don't think the shocks are big bore I think they just went with a a slightly more modern design with threaded bodies. No real details on their dimensions though so I could be wrong. As far as the gear diffs go, if you running on dirt, they aren't an advantage. Hopefully ball diffs are an option. Not sure why gear diffs would be banned tbh, but that's not my rules. Neither of those things is going to make up for the weird suspension geometry our vintage rides have.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Gear diffs are fine just oil filled aren’t as they’re not in the “spirit of vintage racing” I’m sure no 1 would complain but who knows this vintage racing stuff is getting way too serious. 😂

Got a message back from team yokomo Japan saying the piston size on the rere is 10mm so small bore after all

Fingers crossed that the clutch and other core parts are backwards compatible. Wouldn't mind putting my unused yokomo slipper back in a bag.
