Re: Currently Playing
This happens to me all the time, I'll be going along, minding my own business, then some obscure song I've not heard in ages earwigs me, but only a phrase or a few notes. If I'm lucky, it will come to me enough that I can start googling lyrics on YT. I had one a while back that took weeks and weeks to get enough to google, THAT was more than a little annoying!THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 10:40 pmFor some reason, I can't shake this. I don't think the song above is exactly what was stuck in my head that day. It may have been this song, but I'm not real sure this is it either. It really bothers me for some reason that I can pinpoint it.THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2023 10:37 pm I literally wasted a day at work today trying to pinpoint this song. I had it bouncing around in my head, but couldn't nail enough detail down for even google to find it. Then it came to me a few minutes ago...![]()

Re: Currently Playing
Driving along today in the wife's car, and this popped up on the '90s station. No idea how this is not on any of my playlists, but it is '90s gold.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

For the holidays..............
I am hoping that by sharing this song it will leave the confines of my head after the past 8ish days! I have followed up quotes from those around me about 50 times with "for the holidays" the past week or so. Some random contractor is like, "well, the jobsite will be closed on Friday," and I just say "for the holidays." Wife is like, "we need to remember to pick up potatoes," yep, same response. And it probably sounds stupid in the real world, but in my head I am just singing the song. I have done this WAY too many times recently! It is like my standard reply to anything at this point.

Re: Currently Playing
The White Stripes ended up on my radar this evening. It is a shame the two of them made a weird thing of their relationship and the band, but back in the day, the two of them together could make music more full than a four-piece. This is just two people and two instruments.
