Yeah man. You always pop in and drop some really good stuff. Your builds are all next level and packed with goodies. I like zooming in and scarfing eyeloads of the details.
Thanks! Believe it or not, I did find many of those parts on Ebay...but had to buy an entire roller just to get one or two.
But some parts like the chassis I've found in various Fb groups. It takes a while to piece everything together, and sometimes I even have to swap parts from other builds just to finish another one.
Yep. I remember when they were first released, RCCA race coverage (can't recall the race) noted that "those purple cells were everywhere", so I bought a matched set for my CAT2000. The irony is that I didn't need them. My batteries never dumped since I was upside down for at least 2 out of every 5 minutes I raced.Dave- How did it work? Is it a spoiler for airflow under the body? Or is it a diffuser? Both?
I believe the idea was that the chassis would create more downforce for better handling. I never actually raced one, so I have no idea how well they worked.
I recently built a 10L speed run car with that Tecnacraft Aero-trac rear pod and a slightly different Ground Effects chassis. I can't say how effective either part will be while sitting on the shelf.
