There's several parts that look like Custom Works parts.

These look very Checkpoint-ish to me. Certainly the aluminium endbells with the old, the black crackle can, plus i know pre-Platinum Series they also briefly used Air Supply teardowns with both regular and slot brush set ups.LosiRacer1 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 03, 2023 12:15 pm Got a few motors that I've never seen before! I've heard of Light Speed but never seen these cans or end bells before.
Interesting to see an aluminum end bell with a hold drilled in it?
Anyone know much about them?

I also no nothing about Losi. I thought I was buying a really nice JRX2 chassis but it's longer and shaped a little differently. Is it for a JRXT? Or is there a long buggy chassis that is set up for 5 link suspension? It was misavertised as an RC10 chassis. At least I know THAT isn't what it is.

Jrxt and Proformanance set. It's early as it doesn't have the servo saver cutout. I think the Pro's all had the cutout. Nice find!

Hmmm, I feel like I won the jackpot I didn't want to win.
Thanks for the ID. I may have to fish for someone with a nice JRX2 chassis and wants to work an exchange.
<edit> on second thought, I guess this is a good chassis for a buggy. I'll just need to tweak the body's mount holes and front shock tower slots a little to accommodate the extra length

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
OK - I got my hands on this unique body during the transaction which brought me the Rory Cull Hotshot. There were two Hotshot shells in Rory's well known yellow and orange racing colours (one was a TMS, the other a standard original Hotshot shell) but this third body was also included. I was told it was an aftermarket Frog body?
Can anybody identify it? I don't think I have ever seen a body quite like it before. It's a nice time capsule and although well used i am considering using it on a survivor build i have on the back burner....

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Anyone recognize this?
I bought a partial 10T slider, and this is with it.
Af first, I thought it was a general Chinese esc. Then I noticed the older potentiometers, wire size, and that it was foreword only.
I don't have it in my hands yet but I thought I'd ask.

Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.
