New Built A Stamp RC10 EBAY Barn Find, yippie!
Years ago I got my built in 1989 JRX2 off ebay. All it said was new built in 1989 never ran, with like two blurry dark pics of a car and box. The price I paid was either a steal or gamble. When it showed up new as could be with original sales invoice and uncut body well I was quite happy. I've got a thread on that car somewhere.
Same thing just happened with this RC10. Listing said never ran but car was in a plastic bag with a few blurry pics. I took a chance and it arrived today. It is clear it was never run, built and parked long ago, Reedy motor is new as well. Many bags inside and some really cool paperwork. Box is not perfect but the car is. I feel very fortunate to own this one. I already put the boxart body on. I need to clean off the shock oil that leaked out and fix the odd bend job on the front sway bar but other than that, just admire it.
It appears is was in that plastic bag inside the box this whole time. Minimal yellowing, tires are soft as new. Very cool. I can't help but wonder if the original owner ever found the job they were looking for based on the writings on the back of the Associated news letter. Which for the experts does that mean this car is from 1984 based on the date of this AE newsletter?
It will now live it's life out on my shelf staring at that new Jrx2. Did you get the job? Body that was in box in case it was ever yours.

Very nice
But you may want to study the manual and check his build.
The rear shocks are on the wrong side of the shock tower, so who knows what else maybe off

Yeah I'll go through it all when I settle down. It appears I am missing one ball cup for the front sway bar unfortunately. I found old thread that linked to Tower Hobby but link broken. Are they just Dubro 2-56 ball cups?

For everyone of these I've got ten that I paid too much for and not all that exciting. Find like this though does get the blood pumping! Now if I could find a brand new 1988 Fiero GT on ebay with two blurry pictures and a buy it now of $300 I'll be set.

Sweet find. Yeah, always nice when the gamble pays off.
