Futaba MC 112B ESC.
Futaba MC 112B ESC.
Hi to you all.
I have recently acquired a very nice original Kyosho Turbo Optima. It has a period Futaba MC-112B. Speed controller fitted.
It appears to work fine in forward and neutral but the brake/reverse less so. As per the manuals i can see online the brake part of the sequence works but then the reverse kicks in at what appears to be full throttle.
Is this how it was and should be ? I was keen to retain this ESC as its the old Servo shape type mounting and fits perfect in the Original Optimas radio tray.... But also wanted to use the car so ....................
Cheers Sandy.

Re: Futaba MC 112B ESC.
I think that's correct for that ESC. The one I had was similar.
Frankensteined RC10T3 / Franky Jr RC10GT-e (x2) / A+ stamp / Toy Story RC / Graphite replica / B1.5 BFG 5LTi / Clonewald / Hyper Hornet

Getting the reverse point set accurately can be troublesome with some transmitters.

If your transmitter trigger can be set 50/50, it will be easier than 70/30.
