I am going to list a few models to try and sell soon.

I have an old JRX-2 project with this body (see pictures below).
- I am pretty sure it is the same body Brandon used on his JRX-2 project in this thread:

Consensus at that time seemed to be that it was a Pro-Line Nissan Hardbody - is that still the best answer?

Next I have two sets of aluminum wheels that have been mounted to JRX-2 projects for many years (15+ years), and I do not know what they are.

Questions:
1) What brand are these rims?
- And what specific design / model name, if known?

2) Is either set more desirable than the other?

3) The rear rims have different offset - does on set seem to be for RC10 more than JRX-2 ?

4) And last, what is the best way to polish them?
- With a felt wheel on the Dremel?
- What type of polishing compound?

Sorry I don't know the manufacturer.
But to clean them I would...

Grab a spare axle and mount the wheel to it.
Put the dog bone of the axle into a drill.
Spin the wheel with the drill and polish.

I have been using McGuire's Ultimate Compound And a soft cloth.
Probably almost any rubbing compound will work ok.

Same spinning technique to remove some of the curb rash on the lip of the wheel but with fine sandpaper.

I found a Dremel buff gives kind of splotchy results.

they have the look of SEES wheels to me. They were also sold by TMS I believe. I'm thinking Brandon had a bunch he was selling bitd...like he bought out some store or something like that. Don't have anything else on that but would be a place to start looking.
2) Is either set more desirable than the other? The SEES I have are very stout but no idea of durability as I've never really ran them hard.

3) The rear rims have different offset - does on set seem to be for RC10 more than JRX-2 ?to me they are different offset. just my limited losi experience says that the solid are more jrx2 and the holed ones are more rc10ish.

4) And last, what is the best way to polish them?
- With a felt wheel on the Dremel?
- What type of polishing compound?radioactivity has what I use in his post and some good methods. I actually use a drill press so that the speed is slower and easier to use. I used the meguiar's ultra compound and Mother's PowerBall/polishing ball with good results.

p.s. the proline nissan hardbody is what I have mine labeled as so hoping thats what I hope to find when I get around to looking for that body again.

Interesting on the ultimate compound for metal, I'm sure it works as that's what I use to polish plastics.

I start out with white polishing compound and normal Dremel polishing wheels (use the cutoff arbor instead). Then I finish polish with Mother's wheel polish and these.

The ones I get locally are a different color but same part number.


When I got these wheels, they looked like total Hell.

I have a set of somewhat similar wheels.
They are in pretty good shape but oxidized.
Spun the left one for about 2 minutes then rinsed and brushed with a tooth brush.

I picked these wheels to show simple polishing and realized I don't have a clue what they are for.
Fronts are smallish and skinny the rears are fairly huge.
They look to be a set.
Any guesses?

Thanks for the clues on the boat parts.

Here's another part I haven't been able to ID....ball diff for something using dogboes/drive shafts with ~8mm hexes on the ends. It's metric, 12mm at the widest bit, then 8mm on the shaft, and 6mm for the ID of the diff rings.

#$%^ing finally! For 4 years I've been trying to ID this diff.

Long shot here. Gear...looks kinda like MIP but really could be anything. Any ideas?
