So I picked up this used JRX2 a few month ago. It was in decent shape and has a a few pretty nice period hop ups. The 3 piece front wheels are kinda cool. Bottom isn't too gouged up. (ugh stop rotating my pics....)
A very nice A&L steering setup and Slipper.
Inside the transmission was clean. Diff was a little dry but not beat.
So I went to install some fresher tires and wheels and noticed something odd. Previous owner had a a #3 toe block installed along with shortened toe links which causes the rear wheel to collide with the suspension links. They had spaced the lower link inboard a bit and also shaved some material from the upper link.
These links were pretty sloppy anyway so I dove into my box o' jrx and put some better condition links on, put back the factory toe links and block. Fitment is much better now.
Blank rear motor guard is somewhat of a rarity, but too bad it's a bit scraped up, but if you know me you know this will see the track on occasion so at least now I won't be as self conscious about it. IT also has the early uncoated outdrive spacers. Diff was actually good on this one which was a welcome change considering nearly every other LRM I've bought in the past half a yearJRX2 - frenshened up a little

Re: JRX2 - frenshened up a little
Got an MCI and TBG order in and painted up my body. The graphics are actually internal and reverse printed. This is the first time I've tried using this kind of decal, and while it didn't come out perfect it came out pretty well.
Hmm those RC10 shocks need to go though. I had a pair or black rears already so I put those on and recently won an auction for a pair on nice Light grey hardy body fronts. Hopefully I can find a matching set of rears later.
Had to print some shock mounts for the rear but put a pair of original shock mounts up front. I'll likely reprint these in resin later for better quality but they aren't too bad.
Looks pretty good for now. Still need to paint up the rear wing and the undertray though.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

That has a nice assortment of upgrades…looks good! Thorp top gear too. I might have a set of silver .9 shocks for you…I’ll check the stash later.
