Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
A second Proline Pro-2 parts lot from a semi-local guy that I deal with when he has vintage stuff. The plan here was to just hop up my 2wd Slash with a few parts whenever I got around to building it (my first SCT), but at this point, I think it is only going to be about 20% Traxxas when it is done ................ which will hopefully be in the next 2-3 weeks. The good thing is that I have collected 2+ Slash rollers through various trades, so the Pro-2 will become the basher, and then another Slash will become the basher basher!
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

You need my address for the Proline trans love the one I have.
I have a 'Slash' that is down to turnbuckles and hinge pins, assorted hardware that is still original Traxxas. Everything else custom - even the chassis is SRT inspired its a beast at the track too.

Got my TBG order in, love these guys! Picked up body sets for my JRX2 and JRX Pro SE and some gear covers, got a bonus extra body for the Pro SE! Now I need to think of a good scheme for the pro se.
I didn't realize they did these with stamped brush hoods. I have an original one with the machined endbell, interesting motors for sure.juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Thu Jan 19, 2023 2:05 pm Got a couple Team Orion SV2 (round, angle brush) motors. I just bought them because they are different and they were cheap.

Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

In addition to those, I also have a SV2 with bushings and fixed timing. It isn't marked like a stock motor, so I'd assume that it was a 19 or 21 turn spec motor. Not that it really matters.
I also have this one with the aluminum endbell. This one actually has a Trinity 19T arm in it.

Received a package of awesome Speedgem Pro motors. They've all even been Dyno tested! Very cool Jerry! Very much appreciated. Now I'm on a Speedgem Pro collection path...

Got me a BIG 5kg box of Mini bits....
More pictures when I see just what's in the box ... but there should be at least an M05, some M03 parts, and a HPI RS4 Mini Pro...Osiris is the key.

Well, the box certainly held some stuff.....
Alex
This M05 probably wins best-in-show, just by being most complete.... but I've had to already throw away the crappy tyres
Going to be busy!!!Alex

An interesting combination of modern SCT parts plus '80s Boink stuff.

If you find any Schumacher 9/16 hex wheels in that box, throw 'em in your luggage for your next trip to Indiana. I'll see ya at the airport.Incredible_Serious wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 6:01 pm Got me a BIG 5kg box of Mini bits....
